Adult Waiver Program

State funding has been received to provide dental coverage for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through Louisiana's Developmental Disabilities Waiver Programs. As of July 1, 2022, current Medicaid providers can begin seeing these patients.

The LDA is developing a list of dentists who are participating in the program to treat these patients who now have adult coverage.
